• Flagship of dutch navy, the Zeven Provincien (seven provinces) was launched in Rotterdam, it was built in 1664-65.
• With a length of 46 m, Zeven Provincien was the Admiral Michiel de Ruyter’s flagship during the second Anglo-Dutch War and the third Anglo-Dutch War. the ship was used during different battles against the french and english fleet as battle of Solebay, Schooneveld, Texel, barfleur and La Hougue.
•The vessel was dammaged in 1694 during the fight. A first replica started in 1995 at the batavia-werf in Lelystad.
