AUSTRALIA II was the first chanllenger to defeat the American Liverty in the 1983 AMERICA CUP. The AUSTRALIA II put an end to 132 years of American domination by the New York Yacht Club.
With a length of 19.22m, the AUSTRALIA II has a sail area of 171m2. Today, she is on display at the Westen Australian Maritime Museum.
