• Jeanne d’Arc was a school cruiser of the franch navy, she was built in Saint Nazaire. The ship was named ‘la Résolue’ as a temporary measure, and take the name of Jeanne d’arc in 1964, when her predecessor was withdrawn from service
• Her main mission was anti-submarine warfare, but un peacetime, she was used as a trainig ship of the french naval academy.
• This helicopter carrier was decommissioned in 2010 and is due to be dismantled
